This is some of the highlights from the 16th Annual Hickman Motor's Classic Car Show that took place on Sunday July 17, 2011 on Kenmount Road in St. John's. Lots of beautiful classics and lots of muscle cars laying strips of rubber doing burn outs!

Pismo Beach, California, is the host city for this classic car show, now in its 24th year. This show, held annually on the 3rd full weekend of June, pulls in 1000 classic cars and street rods and over 125000 spectators over three days. GENERAL MOTORS General Motors (GM) was founded on September 27, 1908, in Flint, Michigan, as a holding company for Buick, then controlled by William C. Durant. It acquired Oldsmobile later that year. In 1909, Durant brought in Cadillac, Elmore, Oakland (later known as Pontiac) and several others. Dodge is taking a page from history as it offers up yet another bright color, this one called "Green With Envy", which pays homage to such hues as "Sublime" and "Green Go" that were used on models back in the 1970s. A Day at the classic car show. Some home video footage of classic muscle cars cruising around the OC Fairgrounds. Revving their engines and melting rubber around corners, those cars made my day. One of the cars was a custom fiberglass Camaro, with fake animal interior. All type of custom work rocked this classic car from zebra skin, cheetah, to leopard (not the Def kind). A slammed lowrider purple roadster puttered by us, and that was only one Low rider. There was a Gravedigger low rider, 1 inch off the ground. Awesome footage of a red mustang racing around the track to pull of a great lap time. One muscle car race driver made it around in 29.8 seconds. All in all a great day at the Classic Custom Car Show. I love muscle cars.
