Great Video, I love my Muscle Cars but the Rat Rods are pretty cool, I think The Rat Rods go back to building cars on a budget (well kinda) like Hot Rodding was years back, not like HotRod Mag taking a car and dumping $10-15K into it.

@oldmusher Most car shows have rules & criteria some of them are ridiculous , I never enter my cars in a show I prefer to park out in the lot & draw a crowd that way I build them to dive them . This video is about my son & his editing & filming skills , we enjoy car shows & the HCPU has had a-lot to offer ! Thanks for watching ! Cheers

@40momba I like ALL the cars in this video...but...the hunnert car has RULES! No this, no that, hide your disk brakes under a useless steel plate. Rules? Gosh, kids, are you all so insecure that you have to have rules? My 51 would pass those rules, I guess...but...I just built what I liked, not thinking about rules (except for the legal ones we all face). Rules from the DMV...bad enough. Rules from "hot rodders"? I wouldn't attend. I've seen a little billet stuff and it didn't kill me.

To bad the "49" Stude in frame 7:33 is fucked up now! That car was originally a 4dr sedan! A lot of work to section, chop and turn it into an open wheel coupe! The owners stupid ass couldn't leave well enough alone and cut a hole in the hood for a gay scoop and cut the top off to try and make it a roadster! Killed the look totally!!
the 1959 Oldsmobile Super 88 station wagon at 5mins is pretty rare, restored that car is worth 60 grand. they only made about 7,000 of em..

hey all ,i almost went to this in 09 ,herd it was a tad cold? anywho i wonder if my car would had gotton in the show? i have a few videos of the rat rod and like the way the hood came out ,thanks ,will build the "rat stew " tis year ,check it out a 28 studebaker
