   There are a lot of double strollers out there. Off the bat, I eliminated side by side strollers from my search because they are so wide. I picture my wife alone with two kids trying to get into a bathroom and it pretty much rules them out for now.

   In tandem strollers, the key functionality I looked for where the following:

   1. Rides well outside (you need big enough wheels or you feel every crack in the sidewalk).
   
   2. Roomy for kids but compact in design: The City Select made the Contours tandem look like a school bus in comparison. It's reasonably sized for all that it offers. Unless you get a stroller where one child is behind and underneath the other, this one is (in my search) the best size.
   
   3. Easy to collapse and unfold: with one parent managing two kids and putting a stroller in and out of a trunk, you don't want to be fighting to collapse it. The City Select is simple, you pull up on the handles and it falls in place. Once you're there you can clip it in place so it doesn't unfold on you.
   
   4. Can accept an infant seat: check (you have to buy the adapter, but that's usually the case).
   
   5. Can recline seats: You can pretty much lay a seat horizontal by itself, so depending on how you arrange it you have options there.

   Bonus: You can position either eat to face forward or backward. Repositioning the seats is a simple operation as well.

   All in all, this product is very well constructed. It's a perfect balance of solidly made and lightweight. All operations are simple, for example, you can engage the brake on with one finger. It has a high price tag but it's appropriate to the quality and functionality that is provided. I want my wife and kids to get out as often as they want so if a few dollars can make it an easier task - it's well worth it. I'm really pleased with the care that went into the design. Bottom line, if someone stole it I would buy another one the next day.

   Loving this car seat adapter and stroller!!! We had a newborn and a 15m old... this was the perfect solution for us. I love the seating, I love the car seat option. The stroller is beyond nice. The other day someone stopped me and said " wow, that is a great stroller"... it is! Worth every penny. Our boys are now 3m old and 18m old, both in the 95% range for size and weight and the stroller is hanging tough! Not to mention, it comes completely apart so it fits into any space... I have a small SUV and the stroller fits, with both seats and the adapter in my trunk with groceries. Yesterday I brought only one baby with me and it was a piece of cake to change my double into a single.. what a wonderful invention!

   On the Baby Jogger site, listed in the "compatible car seat" list for this adapter is the Graco Snugride 35 car seat, which is what we purchased a few weeks ago. We just received the car seat adapter for the City Select stroller and it seemed like something was either missing or incorrect, as the car seat doesn't snap into the adapter at all, and instead, rests on top of the brackets and metal bar without being tightly fit into the adapter itself. It also has a "security strap" that goes across the top of the car seat, much like a small seat belt, to keep it on the brackets - since the car seat doesn't snap into them, as it seems it should. I called Baby Jogger and asked them why this adapter wasn't working with the seat, even though it says that it IS compatible. She went though how to place the Snugride 35 on TOP of the brackets and that they don't fit INTO the brackets, and that the strap is what actually holds the car seat onto the adapter. This is SO unsafe - there is no stability and we don't feel secure in this set up AT ALL. How they can actually promote/advertise that the Graco Snugride 35 is compatible I have no clue - it's completely false advertising if you're looking for safety for your child. This adapter is $60 and the bassinet attachment is I believe $90, so we'll now have to return the adapter and pay an extra $30 for the bassinet, otherwise we'll have to use two strollers, which defeats the purpose of why we paid so much for this stroller in the first place. VERY dissatisfied with the adapter and they really need to have some kind of explanation on their site that says that it won't fit INTO the safety brackets... NOT HAPPY.

   The adapter is pretty good although expensive and not really neccessary. Be careful to order the correct one according to your stroller and car seat. If you search in Amazon for car seat adapter it gives you more than one Baby Jogger adapter, descriptions are not item specific and can be confusing. ***It's best to call Baby Jogger and ask them for the ITEM # based on your specific stroller and seat model*** Then type the item # in the Amazon search box so you don't waste 2 weeks like me trying to get the correct adapter.

   Had the single bob and LOVED the car seat adaptor. This one however, bounces the baby all over the place. As much as I like the stroller, I might not have bought this stroller again based on the adaptor.
