@luckyshoeshine Glad this one brought back some memories for you. They really are amazing cars. Thanks for taking a look!

My Nieghbor down the street over the small hill had a white one that I just loved to hear it's hushed fury noise as it was driven down the grade past our house. Brand new then and always clean with the windows fully rolled down- represented to me in no uncertain terms Ford's theme "Total Peformance" .

  3. RamblinAround says:

@shartne Yeah, it would definitely be a weekend car these days.

  4. shartne says:

Gasoline was cheap then man. 3x2 barrels 10- 12 cents a gallon. Thats all it worth now we are being raped.

@longhornrancher6 I hadn't heard that about the width before...thanks for the info.

  7. longhornrancher6 says:

Like you said, don't see very many of those anymore. Looks great. Supposedly it's the widest car Ford ever made

  8. RamblinAround says:

@HALLSYSKITCHEN Yeah, this one is a pretty rare find. I like that the 390 has the 3x2 carb setup on it. Thanks for checking it out!

  9. HALLSYSKITCHEN says:

that was interesting. the 390 is awesome. great video .. thumbs up!!!

@RamblinAround Yeah love the car but that continental kit would have to go first thing. I never did like the look of them on cars. To me it just ruins the whole look of the car. Nice price on it too. I sure would rather spend that for a car like this instead of a Honda.

  11. RamblinAround says:

@paradoxdesigns I know, that back bumper is wild isn't it. It really is a rare and unique machine though. Thanks for taking a look!

  12. RamblinAround says:

@gene978 Thanks for watching, Gene. It really is a beauty.

  13. paradoxdesigns says:

with that boat deck out back this must be the safest car to ever be rear-ended in. clean machine!

  14. gene978 says:

You're right Jeff, you don't see them everyday. I don't even remember this model when I was a young buck lol. I would love to have a closer look at that 79 Caprice in the back ground. Great Vid Jeff!

  15. RamblinAround says:

@monarch1957 I know that I rarely see one of these. There can't be too many out there. Thanks for taking a look!

  16. RamblinAround says:

@GeneralGHustler You may be right about that...lol Thanks for watching!

  17. MrMarchant71 says:

Wow man, real nice. So was the '62 or 3 bug in the background. A friend used to have the same motor in a T Bird.

  18. monarch1957 says:

That is a very rare car I like the red and white color sceme, there were a lot more 2 door hardtops with the Thunderbird roofline up here.

  19. GeneralGHustler says:

Ramblin I think that black car you did yesterday would fit in this cars Trunk LOL

  20. RamblinAround says:

@azzarbprime I'm sure that bumper was considered ultra cool at the time. It's a little much for my taste, but I love the car. It should be a strong runner with that 390 under the hood. Thanks for watching, Mike.

  21. RamblinAround says:

@llamafun5 I don't have a video of it right now, but I'll keep it in mind when I go back up there. Thanks for watching!

  22. RamblinAround says:

@hunhun23 It really is a nice one and pretty rare too. Thanks for checking it out!

  23. azzarbprime says:

That is a great classic Ford, Jeff.
And the price is very good...and the 'extended bumper' was the 'in' thing in those days.
My relative owned a Mercury with that same kind of bumper.

  24. llamafun5 says:

How about a video of the caprice behind it? Love the B-bodys

  25. hunhun23 says:

That is a sharp looking car and the paint looks original.
