  3. @raptorana Sadly no.This was 37 yrs ago.I bought it road registered,in similar condtion to yours, for $2,1095.Which was the going price back then! Some twat burnt it to the ground.Might have been one of those ford driving pricks i used to beat all the time....Thanks Holden and Harry Firth for making a damn fine piece of machinery.

  4. @SuperXU1 thanks for the comment. your torana sounds good. I hope you still have it. They are a great car fast and fun to drive.

  5. Great resto!Itoo had one of these little ball tearers.Lina Mint Green. It had been a track car in a previous life as it still had evidence of outside racing mirrors attached to the tops of the front guards.LOL.Was stolen but had it rebuilt. This time with 45mm sidedraft webbers, bigger cam, hydraulic lifters, twin exhaust system,TA's all round(fattest i could fit),magnum mags+ a better sound system. Thanks 4 the pics,it brought back so many great memories.Don't let it out of your sight!!!

  6. na, it is cool man.. :)

  7. @defqon169 the sprintmasters were trialed on the LC xu1 if you have a look at the "torana xu1 when your hot your hot" dvd you will see colin bonds lina mint green lc xu1 rally car with sprintmasters on it. but they were only released to the production cars on the 73 lj model. however i like them and thats why i have put them on my lc. they are the right wheel for the xu1 series cars.

  8. lj rims dude.

  9. great job, i have a yellow LJ. aussie music eg AC/DC would be much better since it's an Aussie muscle car!!

  10. man i want one again, the most amazing cars ever, even if the steel driver and pasenger door window frames used to crack off the mounts, and the rear windows would rust out in a fortnight :) .
ohh and i had 4 SET's of PERFECT head light and tail light surounds, even the gtr key ring the original car came with. I can never understand why people put v8's in em, it totally ruins the handling and everything, you can get 600 hp from a 202, why dump a 1/2 ton lump in the front.

  11. about 9 years ago i had an lj it had a 6 point roll cage, 202 motor, HV sump and pick up, bored out 60 thou, flat top pistons, gilmor belt drives, straight cuts, acr rods rod bolts, crow cam, tripple stromberg carbs, mandrel bend extractors, electronic ignition, tri-matic auto with stage 3 shift kit and 2500 rpm stall converter. xu-1 red with all gtr interior, could only get $4000 for it at the time, with a boot full of gtr rares like the plate that said gtr in the dash were the radio was option
