@CoolCarsHotGuitars
building cars is fun ..
I don't tell people what kind of car to buy, I tell them how what they have can be restored. It's just like a house. Why do some people buy old houses and spend more money to fix it up than it's worth in the end, or when they can buy a new one cheaper?
Why? wouldn't be cheaper to buy a pristine car. They're out there.
Thanks JameZ......thanks for watching!
Wow, Great job buddy. You did a wonderful job on that car, This was definatley worthy of a good comment. Another one lives on!
To replace the panel and paint it...about $2,500 plus materials
how much would a quater panel job like that cost?
Gotta have books......can't remember everything.
Most of these guys have owned the car for years....it's not about "a" car...it's about "their" car.
wiouldn't it have been a ton cheaper to start with a rust free southern car ? How much did this thing cost to redo? Your hourly rate has to be at least $50.00 Hr even for Buffalo thats cheap, Here in Houston that restoration would have been around 60 grand that much rot is rare down here but you did a great job though !
5:10 HEY, I GOT THAT BOOK!!!! lol
That is really awesome! Thank you very much. It takes a huge amount of work, but attention to detail is the way I roll.....and Rock! Peter
I am by no way considered a mustang guy, but you did an amazing job and worthy of a comment. It's immaculate man. Great job.
@CoolCarsHotGuitars no thankyou and its no problem
Glad to help....thanks for watching
this is my faviorate year of the foxs cus the nose and the hood thanks for the vid its hard to find the 82s on youtube and u filled my sweet spot for mustang sweet touth
That is one of the best comments / compliments I have ever received, thank you. It's a bit odd, but somehow I attract Mustang owners. I can take them apart and put them together in my sleep...almost. Parts are easy to find, for '83 and up. I had to scour the country sides for '82 parts. It was so bad I had to go with a rear hatch from a different year and make it fit. The customers are getting more exotic as well. The '85 I'm working on is definitely one of a kind. Took it for a ride..sick fast!
