"GERALDINE" 999.99 FIRM!!! This video highlights the Restoration of our 1969 MACH ONE 428-Cobrajet Project. This is a true "R" code car! It came equipped with all of the Bells & Whistles, including Air Conditioning and Power Steering, which is underway of installation as I type. This car too has been equipped with a full, 4-wheel disk brake option. This car is special in that when it was ordered, it was equipped with a "Special Paint" Ford # Unknown option. The Marti report finds this to be accurate as does it also reflect in the door data tag. The original owner did not like the two reds that were available that year, (Indian Fire & Candy Apple), so he had a special paint ordered, making this a True, Rare Find, 1 of 1 Car! You simply cannot and will not find another car like this one, "ANYWHERE!" Since this car was indeed a "Special Paint- Ford # Unknown Code," we decided to apply the "Viper Red!" Although any color placed on the car would be technically correct, we liked the Viper! Where possible, every part restored so far has been with NOS or OEM type materials. Although this has made the restoration process much longer, we think it has been well worth it and feel that you will too. The car simply speaks for it's self. "FLAWLESS!" However we would love to answer any questions that you might have... This car will be going up for sale Late-Summer of 2007, but we will certainly entertain any offers that you may wish to make as it sits today. If you would like to come ...

  4. Wow that car brings back some memories. Great job! I bought a 1969 Mach 1 back when I was high school for $100 and kick myself for selling it for a $600 profit now. I'm building a GT40 now, but would like another 69 Mach 1 some day.

  5. I hate the reflective striping looks so gay, when I restore mine Im taking that crap off and painting the stripes not that reflective junk

  9. awsome mach 1 resto man!do you kno wat mustang has the gauge on the outside on the hood?

  10. Yea he needs to turn his pressure down...them syphon feeds waste a lot of product...gravity feeds use all the product and dont need a lot of pressure...

  11. You guys need a spray booth, your really risking your health. That place is a fog of paint, not good. Also a full face powered air mask. As
paint mist can be absorbed through your eyes.
Think about it be safe. And good luck with future projects.

  12. never thought I would have sat down through a restoration video of a car, but this I must say is exquisite! Well executed! I love the mustangs and i think it's people like you that boost the interest in others. Great Job! 10 THUMBS UP!

  13. Yea, it was quiet expensive. But then it is a '69 BIG BLOCK MACH......

  14. your welcome, about how much money did it take to restore the car though?? it looked pretty well restored and i say atleast 40k??

  15. Yea, we had to lower the quality to be able to get this much video on youtube. The higher the quality the lower amount of minutes you can put on here. Thanks for taking a look at her. And thanks for the kind comments...

  16. your camcord has poor color quality, so we cant really see the viper red in the mustang. great car though, and paintjob from what i can see

  17. I can see from all of the fine examples from your home page that you are certainly qualified to have an opinion.... My bet is that you don't as much as own a car, maybe a bicycle.., maybe... Have a nice day...

  18. typical back yarders shit house try putting on a spray suit and slow down gun speed

  19. Thanks... Go to MyMustangSitedotcom and type in RED69MACH (That's me). You can find out a great deal more about "Geraldine" there... I still have her... Thanks! James

  20. He obviously knew what he was doing, cause the car looks great. Did you sell it yet?

  21. Perhaps...??? No argumement from me either way. However, the outcome was Flawless... Smiles,
    James

  22. it may just be me but it looks like he's spraying way too fast. the amount of overspray and look of the gun tells me its not a HVLP. the painting just looks rushed in this and the previous video. but i could be wrong, nice car though man. wouldnt you get blotches in the paint from moving the gun that fast? i'm not knockin the paint job, just an opinion. to the other comment; its not a frame off resto, theres no frame, its a unibody!

  23. nice car but for the price it should have been better than a factory style paint job-
    should have been rotisseried

  24. BEAUTIFUL job guys, its nice to see the classics better than new, hope to see you at a Goodguys event.

  25. Complete Rubber Seals, Full Body Work, Disassembly & Reassembly of Molding, Mirrors, Doors, Hood, Trunk Lid, Headlight Buckets, Front & Rear Bumpers, Medallions, Lower Grille Molding, Upper Grille Molding, Thin Grille Molding, Rock Deflector Molding......., You know, at this point I have realized how senseless this response really is. I can only imagine what your automobile must look like. Throw some pics up on here and let him see "your" car! Thanks for the comments... James
